The Big Migration

Over the last couple of months I've been emailing & chatting with my dear friend Trixie about moving my sites over to her burgeoning porn empire. Moving all the files & filling out the forms & getting everything up & running smoothly is taking longer than I anticipated, especially since I can't devote my full time attention to it, but there will be a big announcement coming soon!

I'm still taking classes & painting up a storm and, as one might expect, I'm flat broke! hehe In this economy, most folks are feeling the pinch & you can imagine that starting out a new business as an artist plus going to school is a little daunting. My sites have never made much money, but at this point every little bit helps. Plus I really miss my web friends! I've met so many awesome people over the years from doing cam shows to fantastic members to the other web girls that have been my colleagues & it's really tough to just walk away.

Unfortunately this does mean I'm going back on my word & will be seriously pissing off my family. I'm still conflicted about that because I love my family & they've always been so supportive of me, but we simply have different value systems. Naked bodies are not bad. Sex is not wrong. The desire to watch other people naked bodies (or feet!)? Also not wrong! Sure, the porn industry has taken these totally natural impulses & produced some pretty warped shit as a result, but that doesn't make ALL porn inherently evil. That's like banning all music because you don't like Marilyn Manson. It just doesn't make sense.

The older I get (oh & I'm holding at 29, in case anyone is wondering), the more I realize I just need to do what's going to make me happy in the long run. In the long run, I want to be a painter. In the short run, I need money to buy supplies, to submit to galleries & shows, to keep a roof over my head. And in the long AND short run, it doesn't make sense for me to sit in a cubicle for 40 hours a week & then muster the energy to take night classes & squeeze in some painting time.

So it is after much consideration that I'm going to be bringing my sites to an awesome network where they'll get the attention they deserve from hosting that works to tech support that will help me fix things when they get broken and/or hacked. Plus you'll get access to the other girls on the network who have 24/7 spycams. Yay!

I'm not sure how much I'll be able to update since I'm still super busy & have very little privacy or space to shoot in, but I'm thinking I may focus more on the video side. It's so much easier to pull the video camera into bed with me & record some...ummm...intimate moments than it is to set up the tripod & remote & lights to snap pictures.

Hey gang! Well, after weeks of fighting with the tech support guys at my new host, I pretty much gave up on the new site ever working again. I went back to school in September, so between classes, trying to make time to paint & all of the other life stuff that gets in the way, BarefootKristy.com got put on the backburner.

I honestly haven't even looked at the site in weeks & then all of a sudden I started getting new members. What the heck? Where did you guys come from??? *grin*

So. Hello new friends! I've been busting my butt trying to get everything functional again & then...& then I'm not sure what!

I have sooooo many photo sets & videos & have put so many hours into this site over the years, but I really can't afford to maintain it. The hosting I'm on now is a lot cheaper, but the CCBill Visa fees are coming up soon & there's just no way I can afford to pay them. So the site will have to close or move somewhere else. I'm not quite sure what to do, to be honest & would appreciate any suggestions.

The folks at Clips4Sale have been great to work with, so I'm tempted to keep all of my videos on there, but I'll miss the back & forth relationship that you get with members. You guys are the best!

A huge thank you is in order for all of the kind comments and emails I got after my last post. Sometimes I don't know what to say when I hear that a friend/blogger is having a hard time, but just seeing notes saying that me and Kiero were in someone's thoughts helped put a smile on my face. I'll have to remember that even if I don't know *what* to say, just saying *something* is often enough.

Kiero is still limping and definitely not 100% back to her normal self, but she's doing MUCH better. I haven't heard one of those gut-wrenching yelps for a few days now and she's been coming out to join me on the couch in the evenings. She's starting to put a bit of weight on her bad leg too. Hopefully this means it was just a muscle tear or sprain.

Server update: all of the content is supposed to be transferred over now, but I haven't been able to check it yet because I don't think the password stuff is set up. I'm not sure if the host company does this or if CCBill needs to do it, but hopefully we'll have all the bugs worked out this weekend and I can get back to normal. And update with some new stuff!

Weathering the Storm

Hello my little foot sweet peas! I've been having the craziest week that feels like the only thing left to happen is for my house to burn down. Knock on wood!

My site was hacked and a couple of member passwords were posted on a bunch of forums. Basically over the next few days, hundreds of people were downloading my entire site which means that my bandwidth charges went through the roof. My hosting company is charging me $963 more this month ON TOP of what I already pay for hosting. *cry*

I did cry actually. I stomped and cried and then threw myself into action trying to find somewhere to move my site. There is no way I can pay $963, so I'm scrambling to move my site to a new host before the old host pulls the plug on me. That's been taking up the bulk of my time this week, trying to get all of my movies and photo sets moved over to a new server, fighting with tech support, just generally fighting.

Phew. I'm exhausted. And go figure...2 days ago I got walloped with a horrible cold. I've been sleeping lots, drinking my OJ & trying not to overdose on Tylenol Sinus. My throat is all closed up and everything in my body aches.

Just as I was waiting for the locusts to come - Kiero, my lovey dovey super sweet love of my life, got hurt. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but we were going to the leash free dog park & she hopped out of the car, onto the grass & started limping. I looked at her paw to see if she had a thorn or stepped on glass or something...right away she started shrieking, the most horrible doggy yelp that stabs right through my heart.

She's been limping since Friday and as soon as I try to pick her up, she SCREAMS in pain. She can't get comfortable in her bed (or my bed). She keeps trying to lay down, but then is in pain so sits up again. I took her to the vet first thing in the morning on Saturday and the vet did a thorough check of her whole leg, her back, her shoulder and armpit, even her neck. Apparently neck pain can often show up as leg pain since it sort of shoots right down their paws.

Since the vet couldn't figure out what was wrong with her, we're hoping it's just a muscle pull. She's on pain meds for the next few days, but if she's not showing improvement by Monday, I'm supposed to take her back & that's where it gets really scary. If it's not a simple muscle problem, then it could be a tumour that's pushing on a nerve & causing the pain. *cry cry cry*

I don't know what I'm going to do. I keep praying to see some improvement because I'm sooooo not ready to let go of my baby girl yet. Seeing her in pain like this and not being able to do anything to help her is pure torture. And now I'm crying again!

OK...back to you guys! The positive upswing of all this is once my site is fully moved over to the new server it should be BETTER. It should be faster, have tons of space for adding lots more movies and I should have good tech support that can handle all of these kind of silly problems so I can just focus on making movies and chatting and YOU!

So. Hopefully I've weathered the storm and it'll be blue skies for the rest of...for the rest of my life! It can't get any worse, can it? Yikes. :)

Back to School!

Hey guys! I've been busy getting a new photo gallery ready for my good friend Wu. Can't wait to see it posted! I'm also getting ready to go back to school - art school! I took a painting class this summer that I really loved, so I'm signed up to do two more classes this fall. I'm a little nervous though.

Stinky Summer Feet

Hanging with the pooches outside the other day, I snapped these pics with my cellphone camera. Not the best quality, but they show you what my feet look like most days this summer.

I love these Converse slip on sandals. They're definitely not pretty shoes, but they are sooooo comfortable. I wear them around the house most days and love being able to slip in and out of them quickly. I can walk for miles without getting blisters and the soft suede soles (insoles?) give a perfect amount of cushion.

The only bad part? (Or good part depending on how you like your feet!) That soft suede soaks up ALL of my foot sweat, so these puppies stink. I can have a shower, scrub my feet clean and smooth, then step out of the shower and walk around the house for a few hours wearing these shoes and bam! Back to stinky feet. Fortunately for me, I like the way my feet smell when they get a bit of a stink going and I *really* like the way the foot smell combines with the suede leather smell. Yum!

Summer Catch Up

Hey guys! I haven't been blogging as much as usual this summer. I'd love to report that this is because I've been traveling all summer and having a great holiday, but it's more because life stuff has been pushing its way to the front of the line. I wrote a bit about this in my other blog, but the short version is:

a) I need to find a new apartment. Finding a place in a good area, close to the water, with sunlight that takes dogs AND is cheaper than what I'm paying now? Tall order. I've only looked at one place so far that was worth submitting an application to (and no, I didn't get the place).

b) I've taken up painting. I've been dabbling in art for years now, but this summer I signed up to take a weekly painting class that has been amazing. It has absolutely lit the fires inside me and I've been really enjoying working on my homework assignments each week, plus doing my own painting. Hopefully I'll be able to continue taking classes in the fall.

Fortunately I've been popping on my webcam and taking private shows, so my footsies are still getting plenty of attention. Apartment Hunting

It's a beautiful day outside and I think I'm going to get off my computer for a bit to enjoy the sunshine. I feel like I've been chained to the dungeon that is my office working on a mainstream project (ie. no boobies) and constantly refreshing Craigslist for apartment rentals. I need to find a new place to live in a safe, quiet area that takes dogs and isn't ridiculously expensive. You wouldn't think this would be such a tall order, wouldja?

I'm starting to look at moving way out in the boonies, but then that kind of defeats the whole purpose of moving to the coast. Right now I live close enough that I can ride my bike to the beach. If I move somewhere more affordable, it will be at least a 30 minute drive (depending on traffic) & I know I just won't do it. At least not on a regular basis like I do now. I love being able to throw the dogs in the car and head down for only an hour. If it takes me an hour to get there & back? It will have to be an *event* to make it worth doing. And if I don't do any of the things that make living here worth living here, I might as well move back east where rent is half the price and I have family. *sigh*

I'm not quite ready to give up yet because I do really love living near the water, near the amazing forests and hiking trails. I love the climate, even our rainy winters. Hopefully the perfect place will come up today, with a sunny space for my painting studio, a patch of grass for the dogs to run around and in a friendly neighborhood. Or I'll start making a LOT more money.

Gah! How did it get to be summer already? I'm feeling totally overwhelmed and walloped by money/work stuff, family drama & a household that just added 2 new members (without decreasing my own rent one penny, for the record). Since there is just one of me, I've been reading all of your emails, but have been slack on getting the replies sent out. Passions Are Stirring

One of the downsides of running an adult website and writing a blog when you're the nude model of said site are the times (like right now) when you really don't feel sexy. Driving Barefoot

I added a new movie clip to my Clips 4 Sale store of me driving barefoot last summer. This is something that tends to happen to me a lot in the summer when I seem unable to resist buying really cute shoes that hurt my feet. I walk around the store, all seems fine, but after a few hours of wearing my new heels, strappy sandals, sometimes even flip flops (!) if they're made out of that grabby plastic stuff, my feet end up in pain & I have no choice but to go barefoot. It's looking like I might be able to fire up the old webcam again this summer as my housemates are all off on holidays or at work. The hours I'm available will vary quite a bit because I never know when exactly I'm going to get the house to myself and get enough privacy to play on cam, but I'm excited. I went to yoga class the other day and couldn't keep my eyes off all the other girls' bare feet. Tech Problems

If you've noticed my site has been down at all over the last few days, it wasn't your imagination. I had a nasty hacker attack and had to reboot the entire server several times. I still need to reinstall some of the server software, but before I can do that I need to set up a better backup system. Needless to say, I've been about ready to pull my hair out trying to deal with all of this crap while my mom was in town. And of course, these problems only seem to spring up right before bedtime! I explained a little more (and ranted a LOT more) on my Kris Madison blog. In the meantime, I just wanted to let you guys know that everything is being worked on and should be back to normal soon. Technically it SHOULD be back to normal already, but the entire server might need to be restarted a couple more times this week. In all likelihood you won't notice it at all, but if you happen to click on something and get an error page, just give it a minute and try again. :)

Spring Into Action

Gah! Can it really be May 1st already? Where did April go? I want it back!!!

I shouldn't really complain because I did have a lovely month. My friend Kevin came out to visit last week so I got a chance to take him out on the town and do the things that I always want to do, but never get around to doing. We did a little bar hopping. We drank far too much. And I think I inadvertently convinced him NOT to move out here. lol

As much as I love living out west, it's far more expensive than anywhere else I've ever lived. I ranted about this in more detail on my other blog, but suffice to say I'm paying at least $500 more per month than I would be in any other city. And that sucks.

Now that my house guest is gone, I'm in crunch time before my next house guest arrives on Sunday - my mom! I'm looking forward to her visit, but can't very well be shooting new sexy pics or rendering video on my computer while she's here, so this week has been/will continue to be a little crazy trying to catch up plus get ahead with my updates. Lovely Weekend

I had a wonderful relaxing weekend, though I didn't get to do any shooting unfortunately. I was hoping I'd be able to take my springtime toes out for some fresh air. Who would've guessed that my toes would be covered in SNOW? Crazy! It's all melted now, but Saturday there were at least a couple of inches covering everything. I haven't seen snow since...December maybe? It was a big surprise to go from being outside in just a t-shirt, playing tennis to digging for my winter boots so I could take the dogs for a walk.

I'm going to do a little sun dance and pray for good weather this week. Before I need another pedicure!

I've been testing out how to get my YouTube videos to retain their quality after uploading (YouTube processes all videos by shrinking them in size, which usually makes them a big ol' mess) and think I've found a happy medium. Shooting Today

I need to shoot some new content today - photos and videos for both my foot fans and for my nude pics site. I'm trying to come up with a plan that includes my ideas and member requests which has me going through outfits and piles of lingerie, matching with shoes and looking around my tiny apartment to figure where I can shoot that I haven't already used a bunch of times before. Then I'll need to do a major clean & try to de-dog everything, move furniture out of the way & set up the lights. Oh, are my batteries charged? For the camera, flash AND the video camera?

I already painted my toes last night, a pretty pale yellow that seems perfectly fitting for the spring weather, but it's almost impossible for me to shoot outside if I plan to get naked. Bare feet? That I can do. Finding a balance between the two sites is really weighing on me today. If I were just shooting sexy feet pics, I'd probably be done already! I've been getting some great ideas from members that I'm really looking forward to shooting.

Unfortunately, the income from this site doesn't even cover my hosting bill, so it looks like I'm still a long way off from being able to focus my time 100% on my feet. Which is fine...I like shooting leg content, hosiery and dressing up too. But on days like today I just feel a little overwhelmed by the whole prospect of doing all of these jobs, wearing all of these hats by myself. I'm the model, the photographer, the photo editor, the webmaster, the tech support, the server administrator and the marketing manager. Oh plus it's tax time, so I'm also the accountant and bookkeeper!

It's days like this that having a 9 to 5 job sounds pretty good!

Beach Feet

Hey guys! I know it's been quiet around here lately, but I think I'm ready to come out of hiding now. My sister and her family were here visiting last week and while it was great to see them all, I find socializing for days at a time really really exhausting. I'm usually stuck behind my computer for a reason - I'm a hermit! I love my sister and we get along great; there was no drama or anything like that at all. But between having no attention span (yes, I'm a poster child for ADD) and years spent typing and reading instead of listening, I find it excruciatingly difficult to try to focus on conversations going on around me.

You know when you're sitting at a table with big group of people and everyone is talking? I can't handle that. My brain is not wired for taking in that much information at one time, from so many different sources. By the end of the evening I feel like I've run a marathon!

So, after I packed the family off I've been selfishly enjoying my space, my quiet. Not surprisingly, it gets lonely! I'm peeking my head back out, posting a new gallery of photos for members, adding new contacts to my Flickr page and replying to the emails that are filling up my inbox.

Note about email: I read all of your emails right away. As soon as I get them, I read them. I just don't always reply to them right away. I tend to keep my mail open as I'm working, so if I get a Big Important Email telling me my server is down or something major, I can react. Otherwise, I read the new ones and think about what I'm going to write back, but I don't actually do the writing back until I sit down with no other work to do and spend a couple of hours replying. It's probably not the best way to do it, but that's my system.

Sister Time

I'm having a great visit with my sister and her family, so please pardon the quietness 'round these parts. Last night we went to see the Canucks hockey game (and I got some great pics which I'll post later). Tonight we stayed in so I could cook dinner and introduce her to Wii bowling for the first time. Lots of fun, but I really need to put the beer down and get back to work! They're here until Saturday, so I may need to kick them out tomorrow for some alone time. :)

Under the Weather

I've been feeling a little under the weather this week. Sniffly and stuffed up, plus super frustrated by my computer. I seem to have had something hacked or some kind of virus that has replaced the Google logo with a blue tiger (cat?) image. It's very weird and I'm having absolutely no luck figuring what exactly is doing this. I spent all day yesterday running virus scans and going through message boards trying to find someone else who's experiencing the same thing. It does NOT feel good to be the first person to discover this! Yikes!!

I'm finishing up the second part of my lacy stockings and heels video. I'm trying to cut my videos up now so that people who just want to see the soles can download just the soles videos. And people who want to see arches or toe spreads? Can just see arches or toe spreads.

If you have any other suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I want to do more toe sucking movies and some more messy ones. I haven't had a good crushing session in a while. *heehee*

Curse of the Peeps

I'm starting to think there may be a Peeps curse. I don't like the things (I'm more of a chocolate gal myself), but I picked up a pack last year after Trixie gave me a great idea for an Easter themed foot fetish shoot. The plan was to squish the Peeps in the grass - lots of leg, a little giantess action and of course, sweet squishy Peeps under foot! Her shoot had been foiled by hordes of spiders in the grass, so I bought a pack thinking I would give it a shot. Last year I ran out of time before Easter because I couldn't find anywhere with privacy to do an outdoor shoot.

A year later I'm running out of time again! I've had my outfit picked out and laying on my desk (along with the stale Peeps) for weeks now waiting for a combination of sunny day, privacy and photo prepped hair/face/body. A photographer helper would be great too.

While there is a lot that needs to come together in order to shoot, like getting a pedicure, shaving or waxing my legs, doing my hair and make-up, I'm starting to think it's more likely a Peeps Curse. Need evidence? Today is the only day that's not guaranteed to rain all week and I wake up with a big red rash on my chest.

I'm telling you...those Peeps are cursed!!!

It always takes me a day or so to get back into the swing of things after a holiday and my weekend trip to Jasper was no exception. I didn't get to go skiing unfortunately, but it was a lovely visit and I took in some great scenery.

As much as I love living on the coast, it's hard to say goodbye to family I know I won't see again for several months. Even so, getting a hint of the cold, dry weather in Alberta was enough to reassure me that I made the right decision to move. My skin loves humidity, rain, moisture. I felt like an old woman watching my skin shrivel and itch as it dried up. Think I'm exaggerating? I got a nose bleed on day two!

Kristy Goes Skiing

I'm driving to Jasper tomorrow in the Canadian Rockies to meet up with some family and have a little visit plus do some skiing. My parents rented a cabin that takes dogs, so I'm getting all of us packed up & ready to go tonight. I'm working on a new video too, so that'll go up for Barefoot Kristy members before I leave. Don't think I'm going to leave you hanging!

I was reading a thread on Wu's foot fetish forum the other day talking about how much guys love to see women's bare feet up on the dash during long road trips. Since I'll probably be wearing my Ugg boots in the car (ugly as hell, but soooo warm), I won't have any socks on. Sometimes it's nice to prop my feet up on the dash, right up by the heater, to get them nice and toasty. I wonder if I'll have room to pack my video camera...

Smelly Feet in Bare Feet and Jeans

The set starts off showing off my white cotton ankle socks that have gotten quite dirty after a day of wearing them. I give them a sniff to check and see just how dirty they are. Phewwwww! Very smelly feet. But that GOOD kind of smell, know what I mean? =)

I peel off the socks and then give my big toe a suck. There are lots of great wrinkled sole shots, my favorite when showing off my bare feet peeking out of my jeans. I get a lot of requests for just day to day Kristy, so bare feet and jeans is an easy one for me. I took a bunch of shots in "the Pose" trying to get a perfect one for my blog and the front page of my site, but I think the perfect photo that has my soles sharp plus my face is still eluding me. I have such a big goofy grin that I feel like a complete dork! LOL

That's why it's soooo much easier to just let my feet do all the work!

Smelly Feet

Someone asked me the other day what my feet smell like and it took me a good long time (and more than a few whiffs of my feet) to answer him. It's hard. My best explanation is that they simply smell like *my* feet. They have an unmistakable foot smell, the same way my pussy has that unmistakable pussy smell, the same way when you get up to go to the bathroom after sex and then walk back into your bedroom, the whole room smells unmistakably like sex.

All three smells have their different nuances, but there's an underlying musky, fleshy human scent to all three. I don't think any two feet smell the same, just as you'd probably say that each woman has a slightly (or greatly) different taste. I don't have a ton of girl-girl experience, but I'd tend to agree based on the few, wonderful women I've sampled.

Scent being such a powerful sense, I really feel like we're missing out by not being able to include it in our movies, in our pictures, even in our writing. Wouldn't reading a spooky novel be that much more exciting if you could smell the damp rotting leaves as the author described the desolate woods? Wouldn't a cooking show spring to life if you could actually smell what delicious concoctions the chef was preparing?

And of course, wouldn't a photo like this be that much more personal if you could lean into your screen and get a good sniff of my smelly feet?

Since it's unlikely I'll be able to solve this technology problem in the near future, I'll have to do my best to explain what my feet smell like today. That's another point actually...how much our personal scents vary from day to day. My feet right now, fresh from the shower, smell a lot different than they do after a day at the beach or a day of running around in pantyhose and high heels or after a day trapped in my rubber boots.

Fresh from the shower, my foot pressed to my face hunched over my desk, my feet smell like...well, they still smell like old tennis shoes. Not down by the heel though. My heel mostly smells like shampoo. But up near the toes, the toes which have been shoved into my well-worn pink house slippers, the toes smell like warm wet leather that's gone a bit sour. There's that tangy, sharp FOOT smell. Not like cheese. I don't know why people say that...I don't think feet smell like cheese at all. More like a leather baseball glove that's been left out in the rain and is now drying, warming in the sun.

Tomorrow, on the other hand (or foot, if you like), they'll smell a little different.

I'd love to do some testing on this, sort of a Smelly Feet Project. I wonder how other people would describe the way my feet smell & how smelly they are in comparison to other women. I also wonder what traps foot scent the best.

I do sell worn items: shoes, socks, stockings. I could definitely use a new pair of slippers for around the house! I wonder for how many days those items are able to retain their scent. I tend to sniff my socks and pantyhose as I take them off for the day and obviously that's when they smell the strongest. But how quickly does the smell fade? If I zipped them up into a ziplock bag and popped a pair in the mail, would they still smell almost as fresh? Would 5 or 10 seconds in the microwave do the trick? Hrmmmmmmm.

New Movie Plus My Sexy Soles

I don't know how Friday snuck up on me so quickly this week. I'll definitely be working the weekend, trying to get caught up on real work stuff plus all the little projects I have on the go at home. I started sewing a new quilt this week, one for me this time that I can use to bundle myself up by the fire. I've made 3 quilts in the last year, but they've all been gifts for family members. It'll be nice to keep my handiwork around this time!

I've been busy adding Part 2 of my white pantyhose pics to the members section of Barefoot Kristy. A new video went up this week too showing off my cute green socks and then taking them off to show off my cute bare feet, of course! They were pretty stinky and I got a few deep sniffs in.

Long Toenails

Goal for today: shoot some pictures of my feet so I can cut my long toenails! I don't have particularly long toes, so in photos and in my foot movies, my feet look prettier when my toenails are on the long side. I don't grow them super long, but they're getting long enough that when I went for a run on Saturday, I could feel the tips of my big toes catching on the inside of my trainers. Not good. A fraction of an inch longer and they'll catch and break, probably badly. Ouch!

They're still painted that super hot pink, so if you have anything you'd like to see, let me know!

New Rubber Boots

(I know I'm making a really stupid face here, but when you're tryiing to hold a big silly smile too long while staring into direct sunlight, this is what you get!)

Now that I've braved most of the west coast's version of winter, I can officially say that I love it out here. I washed my car yesterday OUTSIDE. In the middle of February! I had to snap a picture just to send to my parents, who reported it was -22 C back home in Canada. hehe

One of the things I was worried I would never get used to out here is all the rain. I do miss seeing sunshine, but that's mostly because my apartment has no light. There is plenty of sunshine to be had when I get my butt outdoors. Even in bad patches where it rains every day, it doesn't rain ALL DAY every day. A few hours of rain here and there? I can handle that.

Bare Feet and Jeans

I'm trying to finish rendering a new video for my members, but my computer does not feel like cooperating today. It's being really slow and I'm going to do a reinstall tonight & see if that fixes things. In the meantime, I wanted to add something to entertain you while waiting for the new video, so I just finished uploading a new (very small) photo gallery.

These bare feet pics are very candid and simple, so it's not my usual gallery size of 80 to 100 photos. I get lots of requests for my bare feet in jeans, so I took the opportunity to snap some pics of my soles as I was sweeping up the kitchen floor. Of course, the tile floor is VERY hard on my knees and that didn't make for a very happy Kristy. lol I only shot about 25 pics before I was ready to get up off my knees!

Lazy Weekend

I took most of the weekend off this last weekend and really enjoyed it. I didn't do much - slept late, starting reading a new book (Women by Charles Bukowski), took the dogs for a hike in the woods wearing my new yellow rubber boots (which was a good thing too because it was pretty muddy!). It was very laid back and just what I needed.

Since I work from home, I have a hard time finding time that's truly "off". My mind still races and I always have a pile of things I'd like to accomplish. So even when I'm relaxing and watching TV, I still have that residual guilt for what I *should* be doing instead. It can be exhausting.

I'm going to try to get into the habit of working a normal schedule, with scheduled time off included. They say it takes less than 30 days to form a new habit, so hopefully by the time March rolls around I'll be well on my way to getting more work done during the day and more true relaxing in my free time.

And of course, more pictures to share with you!

Home from the Super Bowl

I got home last night from a little road trip down to Portland to visit some friends and attend my first Super Bowl party. We had a great time and the game, the food, everything exceeded my expectations. Falling short of my expectations, however, was my ability to accomplish all of the things I needed to get done before I left!

I ended up staying up until 4 a.m. trying to fix my laptop so I could bring it with me on the trip. By 4 a.m. I finally threw in the towel, but I was in no shape to finish the photo update I wanted to get done for my members. I'm finishing that up right now and then I'll go back to working on that damn laptop!

I didn't get a chance to take any pictures on the trip, but I did do a bit of shopping. I bought myself a pair of yellow plaid rubber boots! They're so cute and perfect for stomping around in the wet Pacific Northwest winters. What's that I hear? It's raining right now. Maybe I should head outside to test out my new boots. *heehee*

I also picked up a couple of bottles of nail polish in really neat colors: a bright yellow, a pearly shimmery HOT pink and a funky turquoise blue. Can't wait to try those out. Maybe yellow toes to go with my yellow boots? :)

White Pantyhose Feet

I'm working on a new photo gallery for my Barefoot Kristy members (click here to join now!) wearing a tight blue sweater and super shiny white pantyhose from Victoria's Secret. Of course, the pantyhose don't stay on my feet the whole time - and neither does the sweater!

I do love the way my toes look through pantyhose, peeking out, giving just a glimmer of their shape through the hose. But the best part about wearing pantyhose or stockings is the way they absorb all of your foot scent throughout the day. They always smell strong, but never bad like the way and old pair of gym shoes might stink. Pantyhose just has that musky, unmistakable sexy feet smell. Mmmmmmmmm!

Pet Peeve: Badly Placed Watermarks

Since I'm a webmaster and run my own site, I get lots of emails from other site owners who want me to put up links to their sites. This is usually a very good thing - I get an inbox full of links to galleries with hot foot fetish photos and videos. Sweet! One thing that drives me crazy about these galleries is the way they pay no attention to where their watermark (the big stamp with the site URL on it) is placed. For example, check out this gallery from Footsie Babes. Super hot brunette. Lovely feet. Nice poses. But why do they go and do this:

Now I totally understand why they want to put large watermarks with their site's name all over the images. I know all too well how my pictures end up on various sites, groups and forums without ever giving credit to where the pictures came from, or even whose feet the pics are of. It's really frustrating to see all your hard work be passed off as somebody else's. But don't cover up the goods! Footsie Babes is a really hot site with super high quality photos. I really don't think sending out galleries like this one do the site any justice at all.

Pantyhose Feet

In these pics I'm working hard at the office, dressed in my little black suit with a crisp blouse. My nude pantyhose feet get quite hot after a long day slaving away at the office. It's probably due to all that dipping and dangling I do while I'm typing. Just realized I'm doing it right now as I type this! Of course, right now I'm wearing my pink bedroom slippers, not my black leather pumps. These babies stay on my feet quite solidly, so you'll rarely see me lose one.

My pumps on the other hand are much more slippery. I like to pop them, but I have to be careful not to lose control. It's so embarrassing when one of my high heels slips off the tip of my toe and comes crashing down loudly on the hardwood floors. Quite startling too when I'm busy at work and focused on something else entirely!

Sexy Feet in Jeans

I'm working on putting together a new gallery today and going over the photos, one thing keeps popping up that is driving me nuts: dog hair! It doesn't seem to matter how many times I vacuum each week or how carefully I sweep the floor before I set up my camera, I always end up walking over to grab something (glass of water, lotion, camera remote) and I manage to collect a couple of hairs that end up being in the pictures. Of course I never notice *while* I'm shooting the pics. No no! I notice after I'm all done and have uploaded the photos to my computer. Doh!

Hula Feet

I just added a new gallery for members of my foot fetish site to download, plus put up a few sample pics on Flickr. It's a really fun vintage, pinup inspired gallery, though unfortunately the pictures didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. I shot this set quite a while ago, before I bought my new camera. Every time I open the folder to look at them, I'm excited and then immediately disappointed when I see how blurry so many of them turned out. A lot of the close up ones of my bare feet were totally unuseable because they were so out of focus. Grrrrrr! I decided to put them up anyway because I did have a blast painting that backdrop and putting together the whole outfit. I love how happy and smiley models used to be. A smiling girl with a great sense of humor? That's totally sexy to me, much more so than the usual pout we see on today's models.

But don't worry! My next photo gallery will be full of crisp, high resolution shots of my sexy feet. Promise!

Feeling the Winter Blues

I think the winter blahs have settled in over at Casa Kristy. I've been feeling very low energy all week and praying for some sunshine. I'm so tired of rain and grey skies!

Since I can't afford a proper beach holiday, I think the best thing to do to beat the January doldrums is to set up a fake beachy photoshoot. Break out the bikini and the coconut oil, plus my super hot photography lights? Perfect! Just the smell of that coconut oil always takes me back to happy summer memories of days spent by the pool when I was a kid. I wonder if I can find some sand to import to my living room? Or better yet, a sexy lifegaurd!

New Year, New Socks

2008 has been off to a rather slow start for me, as I've been trying to fend off a cold that I knew was coming. Today my body finally succumbed to coughing and congestion, which is almost a relief. I've been sleeping tons and just generally feeling low, with no energy. At least now I know why!

My plan for the afternoon is to go to a yoga class that will hopefully get my body feeling stretched and loosened up, then finish up a new pic gallery showing off my new red socks for my wonderful members.

One of my goals for this year is to turn my sexy feet site into one of the best personal foot fetish sites on the net. I've put so much time into shooting the best quality photos and videos that I can. I'd really like to branch out this year and shoot with some professional photographers and hopefully some other foot models. Without sounding too much like a pledge drive, that's where YOU can help!

I've got some really amazing members and I'm incredibly grateful for anyone who has joined my site in the past. I feel lucky to have emailed and chatted with some of the kindest, sweetest people I've ever met, let alone come across on the internet (where being anonymous and being rude seem to go hand in hand).

But with the number of sites out there, it's a miracle anyone ever finds my little corner of the web. Going over what it's cost me to run this site for the past year and the number of members that have subscribed, I'm still in the red. Hopefully this will be the year that my site really takes off and can start paying for itself. Ideally I'd like to get to the point where I have enough monthly members that I can afford to pay for things like pedicures and new shoes, but my first goal is just to get to the point where the site is generating enough income to pay for the server it's hosted on and to pay off my camera.

Well, it looks like I'm not doing anything too exciting for New Year's Eve this year, as my plans kind of fell through at the last minute. But I won't let that put a damper on my spirits. 2007 was a huge year for me with a major move, lots of time spent with family and friends, and a lot of soul searching trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. While I don't have all the answers yet, I'm really excited about what 2008 will bring. Just looking back over the photos and videos I shot this year, the little archive that is growing and evolving as my personal site, feels amazing. I can't wait to get started on the next year's worth of stuff!

Hope you're having a safe and happy night in whatever way you choose to celebrate. Sometimes just staying home and writing a list of all the things you're grateful for is the perfect way to prepare for the new year. And really...who wants to start the new year off feeling sick?

Santa brought me a Nintendo Wii for xmas (OK, it was really me) and I've been having a blast with it. My housemates are hooked too, so we've got quite the Wii bowling league going in my little suite. Love it!

Painting the Town Red

I'm taking my girlfriend out for dinner tonight for her birthday. Since I don't have any holiday parties to attend this year, I'm using tonight as the perfect opportunity to pull out my favorite party dress, paint my nails a slick shiny red and wear my new shoes. I treated myself to a little early Christmas present of the sexiest red pumps with a 4 inch stiletto heels. They're by Nine West and are surprisingly comfortable (as far as high heels go. We're not talking flip flop comfortable here!).

I'm just starting to get ready now, but will make sure to snap some pics before I paint the town red. :)

I've been rather quiet with the blog posts lately, but have been posting Tweets on my Twitter account at least a couple of times a day. It's a silly thing, but I've become quite addicting to Twittering away my days. I post things that wouldn't really warrant an entire blog post since they're just small blurbs, but I find them really comforting to read. I like keeping up with my cyber-friends and seeing how they spend their days, literally minute by minute sometimes.

I wonder if I should start a second account just for my feet Tweets? Most of my daily stuff would cross over to both my nude modeling site and my foot site, so one profile would likely get neglected. Plus I'd have to log out and log back in all the time. Doesn't sound like a good use of time when I could be writing real blog posts or editing pictures, does it?

Just wanted to drop a note to my fabulous members who have been patiently waiting for my update this week: it's on the way!

My computer keeps crashing in the middle of converting my latest video and I can't figure out why. It usually takes a couple of hours, so it's really frustrating to go in to check on it and see a big error message. But the computer gods were smiling last night because I set up the HD version to render last night before I went to sleep and this morning it was ready. No error messages! Woohoo!!!

The pumpkins have been carved, I found a wig last night to go with my costume and I'm just about all set for celebrating Halloween. I do need to paint my nails a nice blood red first. Pumpkin guts are not so pretty!

I really love wearing vintage stockings, especially when I get to tease my foot boys by dangling my shiny black high heels, popping my stocking covered feet in and out of the pumps.

A lot of the shots are just me having fun posing, maybe more suited for fans of stocking babes or sexy leg pictures. But there are also lots of close up shots of my feet in the stockings that I absolutely love. They're quite sheer and with the soft lighting, I think the texture of the vintage nylons over my soft soles looks beautiful.

I've been spending a lot of time in my office this week, but not having anywhere near as much fun as these office babes. Digging through my files for old receipts and taking pics of any manuals or other evidence I have so I could file my insurance claim after my house was broken into isn't quite the activities I think of when I picture naughty secretaries!

I did get if finished and submitted though, so hopefully I'll get some good news from my insurance adjuster shortly and I'll have a replacement video camera in my hands. I really want to get some more sexy legs and feet shoots done outside before the weather gets too cold. And with the gorgeous fall leaves for a backdrop? Swoon!

Flip Flop Feet

Now that the weather is turning cooler, I'm already starting to miss my flip flop feet. I hate having to bundle up in socks and boots all winter long, so if you have any requests or suggestions for outdoor shoots before it gets too cold, let me know. :)

Home Security

If it's been quiet around these parts lately, it's because I've been in hiding. My house got broken into last week and I'm still a little shaken up. You can read more of the details here.

Does anybody have any good home security tips? There have been a rash of break-ins in my neighborhood over the last few months and I'm worried the guy (or guys) is going to be back.

I do have a separate office in my place that I lock with a key, so at least that's one more thing a burglar would have to break down to get to my valuables, but there is window access that has me concerned. I really don't want to live looking through bars. Are there any other solutions?

I love puttering around my garden, even though I don't have much of a green thumb. There is so much to learn about different plants, soil types, sun or shade requirements...it never ends!

Tennis Star

Between house guests, concerts and trying to catch up with work, summer vacation seems a million miles away already. One thing that's been great for keeping my sanity plus keeping me in shape after far too many hours sitting at my desk has been playing tennis.

I just started playing a few weeks ago and I'm already hooked. It's much more fun than going to the gym for me and though it doesn't target specific areas (can't quit doing squats or leg lifts to shape my bum!), it's a killer workout because I'm racing around the court constantly.

I have a pretty strong competitive drive, so that "first to the ball" instinct kicks in even though I don't know what I'm doing. I basically do sprints the full time I'm playing, plus slower jogs to retrieve my many, many wayward balls. I really need a ball boy. *grin*

Since I should be able to play almost year round out here (a little rain never hurt anyone, right?), I picked up some saucy new tennis shoes the other day. Aren't they smashing?

I wasn't sure what the difference was with tennis shoes versus my regular trainers, but when I took at the soles of these ones, I could see how perfectly flat the bottoms are with no indent in the middle to support your sole as you jog or climb up stairs. They're built specifically for the lateral movement on the flat surface of a tennis court and keep the top of my foot snug and locked in place.

Now if I could just figure out how to keep the ball in bounds, I'd be all set!

Foot Fetish Model in Search of an Assistant

Hey gang! I've been working my butt off on a big design/marketing project for a real estate client of mine at my "real" job, but I should have everything wrapped up this weekend and then I'll be posting a whole whack of new foot fetish updates for my wonderful VIP members.

I've got so many photo sets just sitting on my hard drive, hoping someone will come along and pay them a little attention. Bad Kristy! Now if only I could afford to hire an assistant.

Hmmmm...maybe one who comes to work wearing smart little business suits and skirts that are just a little too short? A beautiful blonde in a tight sweater sitting in my little office, typing away, toes tapping absentmindedly.

I think she's the kind of girl who loves anything vintage and always makes a point of dressing for work. Every time I glance up I can't help but notice the lovely sweep of her calf leading down to her ankle where her real nylon stockings wrinkle. She dips her conservative brown pumps as she types and just as her heel pops out and I get a peek at her smooth arched soles, she catches me looking at her.

I quickly avert my gaze and go back to looking at my monitor, furrowing my brow and pretending to be totally absorbed in searching the page. Did she know I was watching her? Did she mind?

On second thought, maybe getting an assistant wouldn't be such a good idea after all. I would NEVER get any work done! *grin*

This photo set is actually part 2 of a gallery I added a few weeks ago. It starts with me on my way to work in high heel pumps that are a little too big for me. I'm already running late and trying to jog down the street as quickly as I can so I won't be late for work. My heels are not making it easy on me though and just as I see my bus pulling up to the stop, one of my shoes falls off. I made the quick decision to run for the bus and leave the shoe behind. What a good employee, eh?

After a long day at work of walking around with only one shoe on, I get a ride home and hop out of the car, happy to have the day almost over. That's when I realize I've left my house keys in my friend's car! I'm back to hopping down the street in only one heel. Eventually I just kick off my shoe and walk to a pay phone in my pantyhose.

Vancouver Fireworks

One of my buddies from back east is visiting this week, so he and his girlfriend are crashing at Casa Kristy. They've been having a great trip and I've been loving having some tourists here so I get to do all the touristy stuff myself. Last night, for example, we braved the crowds and got perfect seats perched on the rocks along the water to enjoy the Vancouver fireworks display. It was awesome and well worth the trip. I've never seen fireworks go on for a full 30 minutes before and definitely never been part of such a huge crowd. It was amazing!

Summer Flip Flops

I added a new set of pictures for my wonderful Barefoot Kristy members yesterday and wanted to share a (much smaller) one on my blog. This was actually shot last winter during my trip to the Dominican Republic. I was super hot, sweaty and didn't have a whole lot of patience for trying to get my remote to work while balancing my camera carefully, but I really loved these pink bubblegum flipflops that matched so perfectly with my hot pink toes.

I dug these flip flops out of my closet after I posted the photos yesterday and have been wearing them ever since. They're getting a little worn out and are pretty dirty, but that's the great thing about flipflops. I've got 4 or 5 different pairs in my summer rotation right now and by the end of the summer they'll all be ready to go on in the garbage (or sent to a flip flop fan?). I don't think I've ever spent more than $5 on a pair, so I don't mind if they get trashed over the summer AND I get to treat my shoe fetish by buying lots of pairs without hurting my wallet. Love it!

Sunny Side of Shame

Since I'm posting a pic of me on the ferry on the way to Vancouver Island, it's probably obvious that I did not get everything done that I wanted to do before I had to leave. We can blame my lack of sewing skills for this particular SNAFU.

For some reason, I decided that to celebrate my sister's birthday I would make her a beautiful quilt. I don't have a ton of money right now and thought a handmade gift would be a really thoughtful, yet inexpensive, alternative. I still agree with this theory, but many many hours of sewing later, it occurred to me that I don't know how to make a quilt and I don't really know how to sew either. Books from the library are great, but when you're in a time crunch? Not the best time to pick up a new hobby and launch into a complicated project.

So I didn't finish my update. Or the quilt. It's now sitting half-completed on my kitchen table, mocking my every trek past it for more Crystal Lite Raspberry Iced Tea.

To be fair, it's actually turning out really well, just very time-consuming and not really the sort of project I feel like working on when it's sunny outside. I've got enough work to do on my computer that I shouldn't be starting any other indoor projects right now. I've got months of rainy days to look forward to, but right now I want to be outside in the sun! Hopefully that's where you're headed too, so you haven't even noticed my update is late. *grin*

Back at Chateau Kristy, the revolving door of summer visitors just doesn't stop! My parents made it home safely, I got a couple of days to catch up on laundry and gardening (snapped a few shots of my coral toes in my flip flops while I was out there too!), and now the next batch of visitors has arrived. This time no one is staying with me though and instead I'm invited out to Vancouver Island. I know...poor me! Haha!

My sister and her family are coming out too, so I'll get to playing with my nephews - exploring under rocks, building sand castles, catching bugs in the bug collector kit I got them last week. Perfect excuse to act like a kid again!

Before I hit the ferry I *will* finish the photo update I'm working on, but first I have some errands calling me. Hit the bank, the library, the liquor store...don't you just love summer? =)

I love this photo set. It was shot a couple of weeks ago on a beautiful sunny day, the first one of the season really. I wanted to take advantage of the weather, so I snagged a photographer and hit the beach. It was a good thing too. There were already quite a few people out and about, and it will only get busier as the summer heats up. I'll be on the hunt for private spots where I can get my camera out!

I'm back at home after spending a few days with my family and I really need to get some pics of the pretty coral polish I'm wearing on my toes. I snagged it from my sister and don't have any more to touch up any chips, so I better get shooting!

Summer Slow Down

My parents are in town visiting this week so I'm pretty much MIA until they're on their way home. We've been having a lovely visit and spending lots of time with my sister too. We're doing a big birthday celebration for all of the birthdays we've missed - my mom, my nephew plus Father's Day and Mother's Day. It was my grandma's birthday on Friday too! I've been crafting up a storm to come up with gifts that my loved ones will appreciate and will still allow me to pay my rent this month. *grin*

I got a bunch of gardening books from the library this week. I'm pretty excited about the mild winters out here and have been planting all sorts of yummy veggies and herbs in my imagination. I'm going to hit a few garden centers this weekend. I guess I'm getting started a little late, but if I can pick up a tomato plant, some strawberries and a few herbs like mint and cilantro, I'll be doing a happy dance all summer in my little container garden.

Can you believe the final episode of the Sopranos is this weekend? This season has been full of surprises. It doesn't feel like anyone will be left standing at the end. I won't give away any spoilers, but if you think about the next generation, there really isn't anyone being groomed to take over. Really...Meadow is a better candidate than AJ! If the made guys don't have heirs to take over the business, the entire Jersey family falls apart. It's just like the death of the family farm in rural America; with more strippers, violence and drugs, of course. =)

Dirty Feet

Pantyhose in Public

I caught an awful flu bug last weekend and have been holed up in bed with a box of Kleenex all week. Fortunately I got some help to finish my latest video, running around the sidewalks trying to get to work on time with high heeled pumps that are a little too big. First I lose one shoe, but that doesn't stop me from racing on to catch my bus. Then I manage to beg a ride home from work, but since I'm already having the worst day possible, I leave my keys in my friend's car! So off I hobble, with only one shoe, to track down a pay phone.

Once I finally get home (and inside!) I took some photos of how dirty my pantyhose feet got after walking around all day without shoe(s). That photo set will be up soon, but the movie is now ready for download for my VIP members.

A new photo gallery is up for my VIP members, though the video that will really tell the story still needs to be edited and won't be ready until next week. I start off dressed very smartly in a pink blazer and black skirt, pantyhose and shiny black leather heels. The pumps are a little too big for me, so as I try to make my way to the bus stop, I'm trying my best to keep from walking right out of my shoes. My pantyhose covered heel pops out with every step, that smooth material not making it any easier for my feet to cling to these high heels.

In the photos, you see me sit down for a break to rest my weary feet and give them a bit of a rub. But I'm going to be late for work if I don't get moving so I have to pick up the pace a little. Careful...can't go too fast or I'll lose one of my heels!

Dog Sitting

I don't know how I let myself get roped into these things...I'm dog/house-sitting for friends of mine in BC this week while they're off on holiday. Since I work from home and have dogs myself, it seems like an easy task except that:

a) their dog does not get along with my dogs
b) it's impossible to walk three dogs at one time AND pick up the poop
c) they forgot to stock up on the basics before they left, like dog food!

Also, just because I work from home doesn't mean that I can work from anywhere. My home computer is the one with all of the passwords saved and bookmarks...uh, bookmarked. I know it's just a matter of getting organized, but as it stands, I've got about 12 different notebooks all filled with Very Important chicken scratch that I refer to daily. Not so easy to just pack it all up to go dog-sit for a week!
