My geocaching skills have sadly not been up to par lately as the last two caches I attempted resulted in me driving home cranky, mosquito bitten, allergy laden & defeated. If you haven't heard of geocaching, don't let today's sour attitude deter you - it's awesome. There are "caches", usually small tupperware containers though sometimes much smaller (film canisters) or larger (army lockboxes), hidden all over the world at specific longitudes & langitudes. They're all listed at www.geocaching.com & using a GPS, some old-fashioned digging around & the clues they list for you, cachers basically go on treasure hunts using coordinates instead of a map. Each cache will contain a few different trinkets (pins, badges, little toys), sometimes set to a theme like hockey stuff or kids stuff. When you locate the cache, you sign the log book, take an item & leave an item. Then you return home & log your find on the website so the cache owner & anyone else searching for it knows that it is still active & hasn't been muggled by non-cachers who just happened to stumble upon it. Or in my case, you return home to post that you couldn't find it & leave a big pouty face. =P

The last one I was searching for had a toe ring theme, which is far cooler & more useful than the usual Canada pins & Pez dispensers (though I do love my Pez dispensers). Since the clues were all on the lines of "keep on your toes", I assumed it was referring to the theme of the cache. I rooted around in the leaves & poplar fluff for close to 30 minutes trying to discover the cache hidden underneath any one of dozens of fallen logs. As you can imagine, mosquitoes were out in full force & all that poplar fluff had my nose running like Ben Johnson after his shots. I kept thinking, "You're overthinking this. It's supposed to be an easy one...right under your toes." I finally gave up & came home, drowned my sorrows in ice cream & forgot about it until this morning when an email alert popped into my mailbox to let me know that someone else had found my cache. Ha ha! You couldn't find it, but this guy found it noooo problem. And he didn't even want a toe ring! Na na nana naaaa na!

After telling my computer to Shut Up!, I re-read the clue & realized I had overlooked a crucial word - on your toes, not under. It must be up high! I was so busy looking around under logs (a favorite cache hiding spot) it never even occurred to me to look up, look wayyyy up! I'm dousing myself with DEET & going back today & I will not return until I'm victorious!

Isn't that more fun than just going for a walk? You never get to come home victorious from a plain old walk!

I'm a Dork

And no, not just because I watched Revenge of the Nerds (did you know they're making a new one?) last night after the hockey game instead of getting drunk & flashing my boobs on Whyte Ave.

I'm a dork because I was just getting ready for my cam show & I realized that I left my videocamera in Calgary! I didn't even use it either. I brought it down "just in case" & took it out of my purse at my aunt & uncle's because it was heavy/taking up too much space/raining. We were on our way to Peter's Drive In for greasy burgers, fries drowned in vineagar & (my favorite!) chocolate banana milkshakes. I knew I wouldn't want to film anything there, so I took it out of my purse & I can see just where I left it - conveniently 3 hours away. *sigh*

So, no cam show tonight. I'm sorry for the last minute notice. I was looking forward to celebrating the Oilers win with everybody. =( The good news is I already spoke to my aunt & she's having their courier company send my camera to me, so I should have it back Monday or Tuesday. Plus there are 3 other girls doing shows at 11:00 PM, so at least my members will be entertained by other cam girls, though I'm secretly annoyed that my empty time slot has been discovered. I'm always home Sunday nights & shouldn't run into scheduling conflicts again. Hmmmm...maybe I can heckle the other girls in their shows & convince them that Sunday nights suck. hehe

Sexy Feet Run in the Family

I'm still down in Calgary visiting family, but I'm heading home today. I've had a great visit with my parents & some other extended family I haven't seen in years. Even though none of them know that I'm a foot fetish model (or any kind of model, for that matter), I think my penchant for feet is rubbing off on them! Bare Feet in my Cam Show

I must've been having a blonde moment when I added my webcam show to the 11:00 PM EST time slot (9:00 PM my time) because the Oilers game had barely started the 3rd period, let alone overtime. I thought it started at 6 pm instead of 7 pm. Doh! Fortunately we kicked butt again & my chatters kept me updated with the last goal bring the Oilers to a 3 -1 win & now heading home 2 games up in the series. We could actually win the series in 4 games! The Ducks haven't won in Edmonton since 1999. Crazy!

I'm not heading out to celebrate tonight though, like the rest of the fans must be since Monday is a holiday. I have to get up early to drive to Calgary & am not even close to being finished the work I need to do before I leave plus pack, put together a birthday present for my mom, get the car washed, buy dog food, give the dogs a bath since my Mexican Jack Russell decided to inspect what Piggy was doing while he was PEEING & got pee all over her head. Only me would end up with a kinky golden shower dog! lol

I think I'm going to stick with the Sunday night 11:00 PM time slot & see how it works for everybody. I had fun tonight & had some great foot fetish fans to play with. Lots of leg crossing & sole requests tonight. Then I pulled out my naughty box - the box of toe rings & anklets that came this week after a bad girl spent way too much shopping on Ebay! I haven't taken any of my new toe rings or anklets out of their packages yet. I'm still savoring them & enjoying the newness of each one. But after showing them to the chatters in my webcam show, of course I had a request to put one on. I chose a silver dangly ankle bracelet with pretty blue stones. I think it looked great, though I would need to move my cam down lower to get the full effect.

Speaking of full effect, I bought a terrible new polish this week. It's a pretty pale pink but it reeks like industrial varnish when I paint my toes & it took me 5 coats to get my nails even close to covered evenly. All that work only for me to realize that pale pink does NOT show up on camera at all! I'm sure it will be fine with my digital camera, but not for webcam shows. Oh well! Time to chuck the stinky stuff in the trash & chalk it up to a lesson learned. =)

Schedule Changes

I had to cancel my weekly webcam chat today at the last minute due to some unexpected visitors dropping by without so much as a phone call ahead of time. Has the word gotten out that I'm always naked at home? WTF? =) To be honest, it was a blessing in disguise as my office is scorching hot. I have a fan going constantly but it is still only bearable early in the morning & late in the evening. My 7:00 pm (MST) cam slot is the absolute worst time to be up there even without the lights I turn on for my cam shows. So I need to move to a different time slot for the summer & it will likely be a late night one. But for now, I just want to make up for the show I missed tonight! I'm going to Calgary to visit my parents either Sat/Sunday or Mon/Tuesday - still waiting to find out which days will work best for them (my dad has a conference). Whichever days I'm *not* in Cowtown, I'll be free for chatting. I'll let you know as soon as I do! In the meantime, I'm going to pull out my sewing machine & see if I can work on some thick curtains to block out the sunlight in here. My pretty white sheers are pretty useless.

Dirty Feet

I hope I have some dirty feet lovers out there! The video I shot this weekend walking along the river valley turned out great! I'm still not finished converting it for the internet, but I watched it on my TV last night & my muddy bare feet look great at the water's edge with really dark toes that pop right off the screen. I'm usually a fan of bright colors like pinks & purples, but after a request from one of my foot fetish boys, I tried out a deep dark purplish black color. Hot hot hot! Definitely more work since any chip or wear will really show on this shade, but I love the way it contrasts against my skin. Makes those toes look so suckable.

Bare Feet Outside

I spent Mother's Day with my fur babies & we couldn't have had a nicer day. We had a doggy playdate at the big dog park that runs along the river valley. Perfect day for being outside in bare feet! I started off in my new pink flip flops & I'm glad I got some photos of them before they were totally destroyed all in the name of my foot fetish fans. I was talking on Wu's the other day about how foot models love to keep their shoes new & pretty & unscuffed for photos. A lot of foot fetish boys would prefer to see our "real" shoes that show some wear & tear. I can understand that, but it doesn't mean I *want* to see my favorite pairs of shoes get trashed! I have boxes of high heels still in their plastic because I love them too much to ruin them by wearing them outside of the house unless it's for a really special occasion. Chalk it up to another silly thing that women do!

But today I succumbed to the beautiful weather & I think my foot boys will be very happy with my new photos. As we walked along the river bed I was dying to get my feet wet & feel the water & sand against my bare feet. It's been a long winter! Unfortunately, I'm still in Canada & walking along the water's edge with bare feet in Canada in May is not the same as California beach feet. My poor toes got stuck in the dirty mud & as I was rinsing them off & trying to put my new flip flops back on, I sunk even deeper into the sand/mud/riverbed & just about lost a flip flop completely! It was hilarious. Here's me trying to enjoy an *almost* summer barefoot walk with my pretty pink flip flops & I end up covered in mud. Well, if I do another shoot with those flip flops no one will complain that they look too new! LOL

New Barefoot Crush Movies

I added 2 new barefoot crush movies to Barefoot Kristy today & these photos are screenshots from the movies. They're shorter clips than the ones in my Clips 4 Sale store, but still lots of messy squishing action as I crush a kiwi & then an orange with my bare feet. So cold between my toes! I'm wearing bright orange nail polish in these movies (one of my fave colors), but I think next time I'll have to remember to take the fruit out of the fridge at least an hour before I crush 'em! Too cold for my sensitive feet. lol

Foot Fetish "Freaks"

I was watching the hockey game this weekend with a some friends & after a few beers, I ended up getting into a rather heated debate with a very conservative guy about fetishes & the internet. When I say conservative, I mean hardcore, saving himself until marriage conservative. He knows that I do *something* on the internet & that it has to do with adult sites, but he thinks it's just the marketing & promotion part of it, not actually creating my own photos & movies. Needless to say, our opinions on things like foot fetish sites were very different!

For me, being able to surf the net & connect with people from all over the world is an incredible gift. My entire life I've felt disconnected, like I didn't fit in. I can count on 1 hand the number of people in my life who truly GET me. Is that because I'm crazy/alternative/totally different than everybody else? I used to think so & you know what? That was a bunch of baloney. The simple fact is this - connecting with people I relate to has been restricted by my geography. The pool of people I have to find a match with (platonic or otherwise) has been very small, restricted to my neighbors, co-workers & classmates. That's a pretty tiny pool!

Connect to the internet, on the other hand, and the whole world opens up. Suddenly not only is the pool enormous, but the filtration system is top notch. I can find people immediately who share my interests, my passions, even my sense of humour by reading their blogs (or my blog & laughing at my jokes...*wink wink nudge nudge*). My world has opened up & some of the people I feel closest to are folks I've never actually met in "real" life. I can see people face to face every single day & not know half as much about them as someone who writes a blog openly & honestly. It's truly incredible & I feel so lucky to be living in this time.

Mr. Conservative had a polar opposite viewpoint that threw me for a loop. I know that my shock threshold is a lot higher than most people since I do work in the adult industry. I've built websites & done the fun job of submitting sites to link directories & search engines for a couple of years now & some of the sites I've marketed were pretty nasty. Even so, I had no idea there were still people in the world who consider something as common as a foot fetish to be "freakish". I was really angry at first, but now I'm just sad that anyone could be so closed minded. =(

The gist of the argument was that because the internet enables people to come together who normally would never meet, that is a BAD thing. Guys growing up with a foot fetish would've just kept that a secret & never spoke about it. Maybe they would get married & share their dirty fetish with their wife & if he was lucky, she'd be into it too. If that's the case, Mr. Conservative said, "Have at 'er! Knock yourselves out! Just keep it behind closed doors."

But surfing the internet & discovering that thousands of other people all over the world share your fetish for feet? Well that's just wrong, according to Mr. Conservative. "That means that the freaks will start to think they're normal & it's OK. Without the internet, they'd think they were the only one & would keep it quiet & never indulge in it."

For the record, he wasn't strictly a foot fetish hater...furries, balloon guys, all sorts of fetishes were mentioned but obviously the foot one hit home the most for me.

Anyways, I wanted to vent this here because the whole conversation just left me feeling frustrated. If the activity is between two consenting adults & isn't hurting anyone else, who cares? Why are people still so intolerant of any little thing that could bring someone else pleasure? I just don't get it. He couldn't explain why it was OK to be a boob man or an ass man but not a foot man, he just knew it was "wrong". Go figure he's not married! lol

I think life is far too short to come up with more reasons to deny yourself simple pleasures. As a woman, I'm thrilled to know that men come in all flavors & that there are some who will worship my body from head to toe. Just focusing on any single part of me (even my feet!) is missing out on so much. And that's exactly why I love my foot boys. If you'll take the time to pamper my feet, I know you'll be willing to spoil me in every possible way. I'll take a freak like that any day!

I wanted to shoot last weekend, but it ended up being too cold to have my bare feet out & about. It actually snowed! Day Full of Dohs!

Get ready for some ranting! First, my phone has been unusable since Monday. I pick it up & there is no dial tone, just steady fast beeping (& not the "you have voice mail" beeping). I've been walking down to the payphone down the street every day & the phone company keeps telling me that they're working on it. I'm going nuts! There are a bunch of important calls I need to make that will involve lots of hold time, so not the kind of thing I can do from a payphone. I dropped by my old apartment the other day to pick up some mail & discovered I'd been summoned for jury duty, but missed the date by 6 weeks. Whoops! Since there are pretty heavy fines for dodging jury duty, I'd really like to phone down & explain that I'd moved...yadda yadda. On the way to pick up my mail, a lovely cop pulled me over to let me know that my tags were expired. "Ummmm, no they're not," was my clever retort. Again, wrong address, didn't get my renewal stuff. He didn't give me a ticket, but it was an extra $100 expense I wasn't expecting this month.

The topper? I got locked out of my house today. Remembered *just* as I was going down the steps that I didn't have my keys. Doh! I had to call my ex-boyfriend's father, who fortunately still has keys to my place after he helped me do some reno stuff when I first moved in. I remember telling him to keep the keys "just in case" & it turns out that was the only smart thing I've done lately! Here's hoping tomorrow will be better. =)

Oilers Win!

Oilers beat the Red Wings tonight & Edmonton went freakin' nuts! I reserved a table at a pub where my girlfriend works & had a great time watching the game, hoping but not honestly expecting them to win. Everyone went crazy cheering when we won & even though it's freezing outside (supposed to snow tonight!), thousands of Oilers fans hit Whyte Ave, the university area strip of bars, restaurants & funky little shops to party. Just walking up & down the Ave, everyone was cheering & slapping hands. Awesome! So cool to see such a huge crowd of people all getting along & not causing trouble. I've never given so many high 5s in my life! I was bundled up, so no cool shots of me in my fan gear but I did have a couple of news cameras following me for a bit so I'm going to tune into the evening news & see if my footage made the cut. =)

If Calgary wins tonight it will be Edmonton vs. Calgary for the next round. That would be insane! I partied on the Red Mile in Calgary 2 years ago & had a great time, but throw the Alberta rivalry into the mix? People would call in sick for the entire week & just stay drunk. lol
