Green Toes and Bare Soles

green toes and bare soles

Sick of green yet? Good thing St.Patrick's Day only comes around once a year, eh? I love wearing wild colored toe nail polish, even green toes though they are a bit sickly looking. I really like the way they stand out & grab attention in a sea full of bare feet and sandals with nothing but reds and pinks. Pink is my favorite color and everybody likes the traditional dramatic red. Those colors make feel look pretty which is exactly why they're so popular. Green on the other hand, isn't nearly as flattering. I love it for the attention grabbing factor, but it's safe to say that pinks and reds aren't in any danger of being retired. *grin*

Note to my members: sorry for the late update! All of the pics are up now...finally. My wireless net connection kept dropping off before all the pictures were uploaded. I'm on a mission to get my own high speed connection hooked up this week. Wireless is just not gonna work when dealing with big files. =(

Happy St.Patrick's Day!

The full set of my St. Paddy's Day pics will be in the MEMBERS ONLY area tonight!

I'm just about finished editing my St.Patrick's Day pics & they'll be ready for members soon. I love these green socks from Target. So cute! Of course I've got matching green nail polish on my toes underneath those socks too. *heehee*

I don't think I'll be drinking myself this weekend, but if you're going out to celebrate, please stay safe & take a cab home. All that green beer can sneak up on you!

More Sexy Feet

Since that last picture didn't show off the blue toes, here's another one for you from my sexy feet set the Blue Hotel:

I got the key to my new place & am still getting settled. Unfortunately the movers aren't helping any - they still haven't shown up! I've got no dishes or towels & not much in the way of clothes either. The thing I'm missing most is my tools as I try to set up the new Ikea shelves I bought. I don't have anything to put ON the shelves yet, but I'd still like to get them ready for when my boxes do arrive. If only I didn't have to fiddle with the teeny tiny wrenches they give you. I may have to hit the hardware store tomorrow & buy a new electric screwdriver before I go crazy. =)

I picked up some really cute green socks & matching nail polish for St. Paddy's Day. I'm going to try & snap some pictures over the next couple of days so I'll have them ready in time for the big Guinessfest.

Sexy Feet

Thanks to the powers of wireless, I have new pictures ready for Bare Foot Kristy members to download! I shot these pictures against the crisp white sheets of my Seattle hotel room & had fun playing with the huge mirror on the wall above the bed. I am naked in all of them, but the emphasis is on my bare soles & blue toes, though I don't think the bare booty is hurting anybody. *giggle*

In Seattle

Hey guys! Just to save some cross posting, I'm going to update my Kris Madison Blog with all of the details about my big move to Seattle. All foot related stuff will be here (speaking of which, you should see the sexy boots my sister gave me! woohoo!), but all general moving stuff will be over there. Cool beans?

Pics of my feet trotting around the west coast coming soon!

Moving Day

It's official - I'm homeless! I handed the keys over to the new owners (well, technically my lawyer handed them over) & am now on the road heading to Seattle.

I had a tough time finding a decent place to stay overnight that takes dogs, but lucked out with a little indie hotel that has wireless for my laptop, a hot tub & probably only 5 other guests in the whole place. I'm not sure anyone else is even staying on my floor. My first choice was the Hampton Inn (always decent), but since they had no room in the inn, I'm soaking up some tacky 1982 decor & quiet. I'm loving the clean sheets & towels, mostly just because I won't have to clean them. I'm so sick of cleaning!

Packing for my big move took much longer than it should have & I have cuts, scrapes & bruises everywhere. Apparently I do not possess mad spacial relation skillz. The toughest item I tried to pack was a simple rice cooker. I must've tried it in 4 different boxes (!) before I found a place for it where it wouldn't get crushed and it wouldn't be the only thing in the box. My storage unit is packed to the rafters & I still had to leave a bunch of stuff at my friend, the big V's workshop. I didn't finish getting everything hauled to storage until almost noon on Monday. The original plan was to have everything packed by Saturday so I could spend all day Sunday cleaning, getting my car ready & wrapping up any last minute errands. Instead I got up at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday & worked straight through until Monday night. I took a late night break for Chinese food (mmmmm...beef with black bean sauce), but otherwise I was a packing, moving, cleaning maniac for 32 hours. Whew!

Time to crash & then another day of driving tomorrow. I stop lots to let the dogs run & stretch my legs so it's a little slow going. I'm going to deserve a massage & pedicure spa treatment when I finally arrive. =)

The Great Box Hunt

I'm wayyyy behind in packing & can't believe I have to be moved out by Monday.  THREE days!  I feel like I'm acting out that Seinfeld comedy bit, sizing every item up for the type of box it would've come inside.  I trucked around all the big box places I could think of - Home Depot, Best Buy & so on - with no luck.  Most of the places with the good boxes (oh monitor boxes, how I love your sturdy cardboard & handles that never tear!) have dastardly crushers, so alley box pickers can't even get close to their boxy goodness.  It's tragic.

I hit pay dirt behind a sports place on Monday.  Because of the holiday their recycle bin runneth over & I stuffed as many boxes into my car as it would carry.  Now comes the tough part of actually organizing my junk.  I had one big one packed perfectly, all space used efficiently & filled to the brim.  Then I realized I couldn't lift the fucker & had to take it all out & divide it into 3 smaller boxes.

Fortunately I've had American Idol to entertain me as I pack.  I'm loving the nerdy guy & he's my one reason for watching this season.  I usually watch bit & pieces throughout the year, but rarely sit through an entire show.  I hate that style of singing, generally & the music choices are always awful.  I really have no desire to see teenagers sing Aretha.  Sorry!  The few interesting contestants (Chris Daughtry, for example) usually get cut & I fully expect that to happen with this year's Chris.  Great exposure for him though.  I could see him doing those commentary spots on E! picking apart the celebs or whatever that show is where they get unheard of comedians to rate the music videos.  Does VH1 even play videos anymore?  It seems like it's always one of those Top 40 Most _______ shows.  Bah.  Dang kids & their lack of rock music!  =)

*Sniffle*

My cold has gone from sniffly to dizzy & I'm feeling absolutely wretched.  I've been trying to do the basics - lots of fluids, vitamin C & sleep.  I think I popped my ear drum from blowing my nose too much & that has really thrown me for a loop.  It really hurts so I've been taking Advil, but the Advil/cough syrup combo makes me feel totally disoriented & woozy.  Hopefully this sucker will move on to somebody else soon!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm usually a big fan of silly Hallmark holidays like Valentine's Day, but this year I've got a brutal head cold to keep me company so I'm not feeling too festive.  I don't have any plans, so I'm thinking I'll wait a couple of days & then treat myself to some discounted chocolates.  *grin*

More Cleaning

My weekend open house went pretty well minus the one crying jag I had while scrubbing the white trim.  That was pre-open house, so I didn't scare away any potential buyers with my tears of frustration.  But I can't believe how quickly a house gets dirty!  I have more people coming to look at it today, so I'm back to scrubbing.

These Boots are Made for Moping

It's official - my house is not sold & I'm back to square one.  :(

I'm sure this is just a temporary setback, but it's so hard not to feel bummed.  I'm supposed to be moved by now!  I've pulled all of my shoes out & have them covering my bedroom in different piles - shoes I want to take pictures in before I move, shoes I want to bring with me, shoes I need to (*sniff*) get rid of & so on.  I have a storage unit that is packed to the rafters.  It's so hard for me to get rid of stuff, especially girly stuff I think would look good in pictures, even if it's totally uncomfortable (hello hot pink stiletto heels that I can barely stand in!).

I've got my house for sale listings up again & have people coming to look this weekend, so that means tonight is the big clean.  It's so frustrating because I had the whole place looking perfect, but after I accepted the sale offer, I kind of trashed it during my packing/organizing/panty shuffle.  I think I'll be doing a lot of shoving stuff into boxes unsorted in an attempt to get down to the real scrubbing as quickly as possible.

That's how everything in my life feels right now - unorganized & chaotic.  I started installing a new program that will help me manage my members area so you can search for photos, sort by category, save favorites & so on.  The real draw is that I can just upload a folder of pictures & it will create all the galleries for me - resize, make the thumbnails, add the watermark, all of it!  This would be a huge time saver for me so I could focus on shooting more pictures.  But of course it doesn't work just right out of the box.  There are a gazillion settings to change & templates to fiddle with & PHP to learn, then code.  One more thing that's sitting completely unfinished.  *rips hair out*

I hate to whine like this on my blog which is exactly why I've been avoiding writing anything, but you know what?  I always feel better after I do get it all out.  I guess once I say it out loud (or in print) it doesn't feel like *such* a big deal.

I can do this!  I'm getting there!  Maybe someone will buy my house this weekend & they'll also know how to customize my new PHP script & they'll want to buy all of furniture, old clothes & shoes.  You never know!  *grin*

Shooting New Pretty Feet Pics

I'm off to the gym & then getting a pedicure so I can shoot some new pictures of my pretty feet tonight.  Any requests for polish color?  I just did red, so I'm thinking something a little different.  Maybe a pale pink?  Or something really bright so my toes stand out?  Let me know!

Pantyhose Feet

I'm back to work tonight (if you could call it that) shooting some gorgeous pantyhose pictures with a little high heel dangling action thrown in. If you're a fan of legs & high heels, then you'll love these pics. I play with my shoes all the time, letting them dangle off the tip of my toes as I cross & uncross my legs. I knew this was a subtle way of drawing attention, especially for foot & leg men, but I had no idea it was considered a fetish in its own right. I suppose shoeplay would technically be a a sub-niche of general foot fetish, but however you label it, I think most men get a little tingle watching sexy pantyhose feet slip in & out of a stilleto heel. I took lots of close-ups of my pantyhose covered soles too, so hopefully that will satisfy my bare feet lovers.

It'll take me a few days to get the pics edited & put into a gallery, but I'll make sure to update my blog with a few free pictures when I'm finished. Keep your eyes out for those!

For now, I'm grabbing some lotion & hitting the couch for a little barefoot massage & TV before bed. I've got another Christmas gathering to attend tomorrow so I shouldn't stay up too late, but I'm too excited to go to bed just yet. I love these new photos so much! Did I mention I'm wearing a toe ring under my pantyhose? *heehee*

Happy Holidays!

sexy bare feet for xmas

Happy holidays everyone!  Me & the pug are heading down to Calgary for a few days & probably won't have internet access unless I can find some neighborhood wireless.  If you're on the naughty list this year, at least you can enjoy unwrapping my feet in these pictures!

*hugs*

Foot Fetish Movies now in HDTV!

I bought a new HD camcorder a little while ago & have been excited to show off my bare feet in HDTV quality, but I wasn't counting on such a steep learning curve to get the movies to actually play on my computer! My sexy feet & soles definitely look sharper & the detail is fantastic - no complaints there. But I just uploaded a new movie for my foot fetish fans at Barefoot Kristy & I'm wondering if the clip is going to be TOO big for some folks. At over 50 MB for just 5 minutes, it'll take a few minutes to download & apparently some older computers without very good video cards have trouble playing HD quality files smoothly. I tested it on my oldest box & found it still played a bit choppy even with "Hardware Acceleration" set to Full.

I'd love to hear what you think! Do you want HD quality movies or did I get sucked in by marketing hype? LOL Would you rather see smaller movies that are faster to download? Hmmmm...slow or fast...soft or hard...what were we talking about again? =P

My Birthday Surprise

Shortest day of the year? Pfft! I crammed so much fun, tears & throat formula herbal tea into the 21st that it may have been one of my best birthdays ever. It was such a great day that getting walloped by the flu couldn't put a damper on the free-flowing birthday snot cheer.

It started with an invitation for brunch at 10:00 am. I figured there would be a few people coming to surprise me for breakfast since evening birthday celebrations in December tend to have poor turn-out when competing with Christmas parties, work functions & holidays out of town to visit the family unit. I was told nothing, however, but dressed it up a notch just in case. My friend picked me up as I was downing some DayQuil & we drove downtown for breakfast at an old historic hotel (think the Shining). I'd been there for cocktails & dinner before, but not breakfast so this was a delightful surprise. While we were waiting to be seated, I noticed she was careful to block my view so I couldn't peek into the dining area. Ah ha! I *knew* it wasn't just breakfast for two!

We walked in & right away I saw my table, not filled with friends & the odd family member, but a small table for 4 where my mom & dad were already seated sipping coffee. I burst into tears on the spot. I couldn't believe they drove all the way out here just to spend one day with me. They drove 18 hours just to turn around, drive home then get on a plane & fly out to Washington for Christmas. Crazy! And like my dad said when I talked to him last week, "it's not even a special birthday"! Yeah, yeah...all birthdays are special, but it's not like it was my 30th or another milestone. Still have a couple of years to go before I hit that one! Wonder what they're planning...hehe.

Anyways, hugs all around, more tears & the beginning of a perfect day. I guess my parents had been talking about that comment, that "it's not even a special birthday" zinger, & that got them to pondering when the last birthday was that they got to spend with me. I moved away from home when I was 18 to travel to Australia & though my family is very close, we don't get to see each other much more often than summer holidays & Christmas. I haven't been "home" on the 21st in years. That was enough reason for them to plan this covert birthday trip with my friends & I couldn't have asked for a better gift.

I got to show them my house now that it's all fixed up & in sale condition (they were shocked & very proud of my mad wood-working skillz), but the best part was just getting to hang out & talk with all of the special people in my life. We went to a movie in the afternoon (just me & my folks) & then all of my friends got together for dinner that night. It was wonderful for my parents to spend time with the friends that I talk about so much. It was definitely worth the 3 hour wait I just sat through at the doctor's office to get some antibiotics. I'm feeling very blessed. And feverish, so if this rambling makes no sense, you know why.

If you're heading out for your own holiday celebration, drive safe & stay warm!

*hugs*

Birthday Wishes

I've been purposely trying not to update my blog because I'm scared to jinx my good news by telling people too soon. I have an offer on my house(!) that includes most of the furniture(!!), so I could be out of here by the end of the month. The buyer is still waiting for financing stuff to come through, so I'm trying not to get too excited. But...yay! I really don't want the expense of moving most of my furniture out to BC, so selling the place furnished would be a huge time saver for me. No hassling with garage sale bargainers or dragging stuff to storage or more trips to Goodwill. Yahoooooooo!

But don't get too excited. =)

My birthday is coming up soon (the 21st) & I've had a lovely request for gift ideas, so I spent the morning going over my Amazon wishlist. I was treated again to a firsthand demonstration of how addictive shopping online can be. You just keep clicking & clicking & they keep showing you more things highly targeted to your shopping history. I showed great restraint by whittling the list down to 2 pages. Aren't I thoughtful? lol

***I should note here that I certainly don't *expect* gifts for my birthday or any other holiday. This discussion comes up pretty regularly in web girl circles & in the past I've linked to some other blog entries that summed up my thoughts perfectly. I'll have to do more digging to find 'em & would like to write more about this to link permanently, but it'll have to wait until I get back from the lawyer, gym & grocery store. Gotta beat those RL xmas shoppers!

Happy Friday!

It's sunny out today & the snow is starting to melt. Might be a good day to test out the willpower of my doggies at the park. They've been cooped up for weeks now, only going outside for stints of 5 minutes or less. They seem to forget how cold it is & paw at me to go out just as much as usual. That excited tail wagging stops abruptly once I open the door. There's been a lot of 2 steps forward, 3 steps back into the house this week. Poor pooches!

Also on my exciting list of Friday fun:
- give the dogs a bath
- re-caulk the bathtub
- figure out why my attic is developing condensation
- pack up my summer clothes & put in storage (*sniff*)
- box up any winter clothes that I don't need & drop off at donation center
- drive my friend to the hospital at 6:30 for some scary tests
- call my sister (which has been on my To Do for over a month now. bad!)

Fortunately I'm still on Dominican time, so I'm up early. I should finish by tonight & can sneak off to a guilt-free movie. I've seen the Prestige (loved it), but there are a ton of new movies out now that look worth watching. Any recommendations?

Sand Under My Feet

I'm home from my holiday but I think it will take awhile to adjust to the 3 feet of snow under my feet. I prefer sand, in case you were wondering. My camera, on the other hand, isn't such a big fan of sand. I noticed it was moving verrrry slowly while I was trying to snap pictures of myself on the beach & when looking at the results in the preview screen there were several red dots & lots of "corrupted data" error messages. It was time for a cleaning anyway, so I wasn't too concerned about the camera itself, but the pictures on it were another story. The first thing I did when I got home (well, after being mauled by the dogs...puppy kisses came first!) was upload my beach babe pictures & grinned a huge cheeky smile. They turned out great! I didn't lose too many to errors & they came out surprisingly well considering my remote control wouldn't work & I was balancing the camera on top of my beach bag. I had to lean in & set the self-timer on the back of the camera, then run out to pose for the picture - all with sandy fingers too!

I'll have a picture gallery up of my sandy feet tomorrow for members of my foot fetish site.
