Happy Holidays!

I'm heading out in a few minutes, my car loaded with Christmas presents for my nephews. I don't think these boys do anything that requires imagination, so I bought a bunch of Lego sets & I'm planning to show them how much fun it can be to create something on your own, rather than just follow the instructions that come with the battery-operated crap that passes for toys these days. Should bring back memories of the massive sets I built as a kid. Makes me appreciate my mom never making me clear everything off the table top & "clean up".

I've just discovered that I possess a new talent - opening packs of hockey cards & finding the most awesome-est ones inside. I hit the McDonald's drive-thru with a friend the other day who ordered three packs of hockey cards along with his meal. He let me pick one pack to open & showed me how to do it properly (apparently just ripping off the top is a big no-no). Third card in - Sidney Crosby rookie card, one of the few cards in the run with any value.



He was ecstatic, though I don't really see what all the fuss is about after the pathetic year Pittsburgh's been having. Anyways, I guess with hockey being back & Christmas coming up, my friend has been really getting into hockey cards again. He picked up a big shoe box full of cards in a thrift store for 10 dollars & is putting together some kind of cool package for his boys as a Christmas gift. He asked me to come to the card shop with him so pick up some binders & inserts & a couple of new packages of cards. He was hoping I'd be lucky again & we picked out 3 packages to open ourselves, the rest for the gift. He opened his 2 packs - nothing. I opened mine - Upper Deck Sidney Crosby rookie card. They had one in the store going for $200!

Think I could rent out my services? =)

New Foot Fetish Movies

I uploaded two new foot fetish movies to the members area of my foot site today, but I'm thinking I may have to re-encode them to a smaller size. I love high quality movies that I can watch at full screen on my computer, especially for juicy details like close-ups of toes, but one of the movies I added is almost 250 MB for only 5 minutes. Update

I've arrived safely in Winnipeg & am glad to be off the road. I can't stand having to sit for so long during lengthy roadtrips, so it's a joy to be curled up beside the fireplace, even the gas one my parents have. My mom is doing well, though keeps hopping up out of bed & hasn't settled into the role of dependent with plenty of helpers around to take care of her. I'm enjoying catching up with my family, but keep shaking my head that people are willing to inhabit this place at all - it is so fucking cold!!! You walk around a corner & the wind cuts through you to the bone! Awful.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to get internet access again before I head home, but will have lots more to write when I'm back next week.

Sad News

My grandfather passed away a couple of days ago, so I'm about to hit the road to drive down for the funeral tomorrow. It wasn't a huge surprise as he'd been getting progressively worse over the last few weeks. He had an amazing life & was diagnosed as having only 5 or 6 years to live when they had to remove his lung due to cancer. That was 16 years ago. Suffice to say, he was a tough old guy & he will be missed.

I'll be back in a few days & then off to Winnipeg. Those feather beds at the Sheraton & doggie pampering are going to well received.

Juicy Red Toes

As promised, a pic from the foot fetish shoot I did yesterday. After hopping out of the shower, I thought it might be fun to do a photo shoot au natural, fresh-faced from the shower with nothing but my bright pink towel & some baby oil to rub into my skin & the soles of my feet. I filmed a little video with some close-ups of my toes, wriggling & rubbing my soles, shiny from the baby oil. I should have it up for members tomorrow. =)

Red Painted Toes

I'm planning to shoot some foot photos & video tomorrow, so I spent the evening giving myself a pedicure. I tried out a juicy red polish that came inside a purse I bought last summer. It was a perfect little black clutch & inside was a complete manicure set including several tiny nail polish bottles. They look so cheap that I didn't bother painting my nails with them until today. Usually I go for long lasting, but since I'm planning to shoot a lot of foot fetish pics this week, I'll be changing the polish a few times anyways. What a delightful surprise! This polish makes my toes look like delicious glossy candies. Perfect suckable little piggies. I think I need to include a bright red lollipop for this shoot just for the sake of comparison.

Sexy Stockings Photo

I've been working on getting photos for my site lately & can't believe how time consuming it is! Makes me wish I had a good photographer instead of a remote control. Or a clue as to how to light myself properly so the photos don't turn out so uneven. I bought a couple of books from Amazon & am looking forward to experimenting with using reflectors (well, giant chunks of styrofoam).

The last photos I did outside in the leaves turned out pretty cool, even though they vary from shot to shot depending on how much sunlight was on me. The sun was setting, it was a perfect fall day & I had a great friend to boost my spirits, even when I ripped my brand new nylon stockings to shreds trying to climb up on a fallen tree trunk. Ahhh...the sacrifices I make for art! hehe

Bare Feet in the Leaves

We finally had a nice day yesterday, so I took advantage of the sunshine to get outside to shoot some photos. A fuzzy knit sweater, warm socks & my feet in the leaves - delicious! I love the feel of cool, crisp air against my naked skin. It felt so great to get outside again before the snow flies. My skin is already feeling the effects of the dry days which means lots of lotion slathering. Wish I had somebody to rub my feet for me!

Toe Injury

I've been wanting to get out & shoot some yummy dirty feet photos in the beautiful fall leaves, but unfortunately my poor toenail is broken! I managed to crack the nail on my big toe & though it didn't hurt too much, it looks awful. I keep checking on it every day, trimming it back hoping that it will help it grow like pruning flowers. I may have to just stick with my left foot if I want to get out there before the snow flies though. =( I hate winter!

Sock Fetish?

I wouldn't say I have a sock fetish exactly, but I do remember keeping my calves covered with knee high socks for months after the movie Clueless came out. I was allll about the sundresses & short skirts with knee socks. I wasn't actually planning on shooting any photos the day I took these photos. I usually like to have a pedicure, my hair done & make-up on when I do a shoot, but on this particular afternoon, I caught my reflection in the bathroom mirror & thought, "Wow! I look pretty today!". I know...sounds silly to admit it. Some days you just get a glow about you, probably on that day because I didn't have anything planned & was just enjoying a day off.

I decided to do an impromptu shoot of just me in front of the sock drawer, pulling on a fun pair of knee highs. The downside of shooting my own photos is that at 3 inches by 2 inches, a photo can look great. Uploaded to my computer, on the other hand, it is much easier to see that the setting I was using wasn't fast enough to capture me sharply. Apparently I'm pretty animated, even when posing for a photo, so there is some motion blur in some of the shots. Still, I felt pretty that day & I think that sometimes you don't need anything else but confidence to take a good picture. That & a great pair of socks. :)

Just Updated With A Bunch of New Photos

Whew! I just finished adding 7 new photo sets to my foot fetish site. A couple of new ones & a bunch from a couple of years ago that I just discovered on one of my hard drives. I ran out of space (again!) & bought a new 180 GB drive this weekend, so did a little housekeeping on my files. I'm going to upload some pics here in a few, but it is way too hot to stay up in my loft right now. Gotta head for lower ground, some iced tea & then I'll be back with photos! :)

Movies & Silly Porn Commentary

Sometimes I just have to laugh at the style of content some of my fellow webmasters are creating for the web. Take PussyFoot Girls, for example. Hot New Foot Site!

I just discovered a new foot site today that I think has only been up for a couple of months. New Foot Fetish Pics!

I set out to shoot some new foot fetish pics the other day in my makeshift home studio & what should have been a fun evening ended up giving me at least three new wrinkles - and not on my soles! First, I couldn't get my remote to work. Since I take all of my photos myself, the remote is absolutely neccessary. I tried taking a few shots using the self-timer (frame the shot, hit the button, run back into place & hold that smile for 10 seconds!), but the camera couldn't focus since I wasn't *in front* of it when I was hitting the self-timer button. I went out to buy a new battery for my remote, which was fairly quick & painless. Until I got home, pulled the battery from the packaging & realized that though it was the same voltage & circumference, it was about a third thinner than the original battery. I put it in the remote & pushed every button so hard I thought I was going to snap the friggin' thing out of frustration! Sometimes it would react, most times it wouldn't. Crafty girl that I am, I stuck a dime underneath the battery hoping to get it closer to the contacts. This worked about 70% of the time. Enough to get me shooting, but still slow to react enough times that under the hot studio lights & awkward poses I was trying to hold, well...my neighbors may have heard some cursing. I switched out the dime for a penny & voila! My remote is working again.

Unfortunately, the penny switch came in the middle of the shoot & while I was rooting around, my camera automatically shut itself down to prolong battery life. When I went back to shooting, I didn't notice that all of the setting reverted back to the defaults, so half of the photos have a really lovely slightly over-exposed glow to them & the rest have an ugly, harsh yellowish tint. Major editing required!

I started editing a few of them, trying to get a somewhat matched set of images for a gallery & then I noticed something else...my bronzer looks like hell! I refuse to bake my skin in the tanning beds, but do like a bit of a summer glow so I've been doing that airbrush tanning this year. Apparently working out at the gym wreaks havok on the stuff - my ankles were almost white in the spots where my sock band rubs against my skin. Argh! More editing! I hate really overdone photos, like the ridiculous images Playboy publishes these days where women apparently no longer have arm hair, freckles or lines ANYWHERE on their bodies. Who knew Barbie skin was possible in real life? Oh wait...it's not! Even so, the bad peeling tan was so distracting, I thought it took away from the images. I don't think every flaw needs to be edited out to make an image beautiful, but keeping in something that's temporary & not part of who I am or what I *really* look like just doesn't make sense.

For the first post in my brand spanking new foot fetish blog, I should probably start out by introducing myself.
